Amazon met with startups about investing, then launched competing products
Some companies regret sharing information with the tech giant and its Alexa Fund. Imagine coming up with an excellent idea for a product, manage to get investment from Amazon for it, only to find out a few years later that another of their divisions launched an identical product to yours, and is now the competition.
