All over the rich world, new businesses are springing to life
Life is short, and there's no time for a new business like today. With an extra 1 million firms springing to life since the first lockdown, it has been estimated that the number of newly formed companies across the first world in the last quarter of 2021 was 15% higher than the average before the pandemic. The Economist discusses how this will likely benefit the global economy, create new jobs, and result in considerable savings when inflation is high.
