Building back better requires systemic shifts
The first step is to acknowledge the failures of organisation of society and the economy. "COVID-19 is taking an X-ray of the body politic, exposing the fractures and pathologies of the societies it is sweeping through — the inequalities, poor working conditions in so many jobs, underfunded public services, institutional weaknesses, and lack of access for so many people to parks or to unpolluted air to breathe.
