Defector Tae Yong-ho: ‘A very small spark could topple Kim Jong Un’

The former North Korean diplomat on life under the Kims and how the world should counter the regime. Few people on the planet could provide better insight into North Korea than Tae Yong-ho, an international ambassador who defected the country in 2016. Yong-ho — who also became the first North Korean defector to win a parliamentary seat in South Korea in 2020 — has lunch with Edward White in Seoul.
