In the wake of the 2008 financial crisis, the US Federal Reserve had assembled a team led by Andreas Lehnert called the Division of Financial Stability, or FS. They spent much of the last decade looking at fragilities in the financial system that could lead to a full-scale breakdown in moments of stress. But how has their response been now there is one?
