Why has Curio changed?

Our mission at Curio has always been to integrate trustworthy journalism seamlessly into people’s busy lives. 

For the past eight years, we have pursued this goal through our audio-first app. The rapid evolution of news consumption and the overwhelming influx of "breaking" news has created an urgent need for change. 

With advancements in AI, we see a tremendous opportunity to redefine our relationship with news sustainably and productively—making it more trustworthy, personal, and thoughtful. 

By using AI technology in collaboration with our partnered publications, this new era of Curio will offer both audio and written text for our partners' content, improve discoverability for the 5,000+ hours of audio pieces already available on Curio, and provide personalised content for you.
